Airport for Seyner Wisconsin

Have a meeting later this month. Flying into CWA or RHI is a disaster from MIA. Trying to get up and back in just one night. How is the drive over is I fly to Minneapolis and drive the 270 miles over?

It's pretty straightforward on good highways--94 East to Wausau, then 51 North. It will probably take 4 1/2 hours or so.

Just a minor correction: you'll take I-94 east to Menominee, then 29 east to Wausau.

Not doable in one day, since you are driving at least 8 hours back and forth.

I assume that you mean Sayner...between Minocqua and Eagle River?

I would look into flying into Madison or Green Bay if possible. Milwaukee may even be preferable to Mpls.

Interesting meeting place! Not much there but if you get a chance, take a walk through the museum. They have the first snowmobile, a huge collection of outboard motors and lots of animal/fish mounts (hey, it IS Northern Wisconsin). If that doesn't do it for you, they also have a ton of early WI historical memorabilia.

One more thing if you have time. Ask anyone how to get to McCay's Corner Store. Go there and get an ice cream cone. I highly recommend the butter pecan...

You can thank me later!

From Minneapolis take I-94 east to Menomonie, WI.--home of UW-Stout. Not Menominee Michigan. Just a little confusing I'll admit.
