Hi Clifton,
Didn't realize your from Memphis! We have gone there for years for quick weekend trips (we're from Arkansas). We stayed at the Hampton Inns & Suites out off of 240 (sorry--Can't think of the street it's on right now but it's right next to an Embassy Suites; fairly new; really nice). We've never stayed at the one on Beale--a little too expensive for us! We've stayed at the Embassy Suites I mentioned above too and thought we got a better value from the Hampton Inn--room was much nicer and cleaner, as a matter of fact. I'll have to remember what others have told you about the Candlewood Suites--they sound really good for families.

Comfort Inn has hotels with suite accomodations. They are called Comfort Suites. I stay at them frequently with tour groups. I would recommend Comfort Suites (along with Embassy Suites) for families. The breakfast (usually includes hot food as well as continental breakfast items) is included.
