Advice welcomed for this Milwaukee weekend
For a possible first-time visit to Milwaukee we are considering this itinerary (thanks to postings by Fodorites!) for a weekend trip. Please share your thoughts/tips/advice if you have any.
Fly in Friday evening, fish fry dinner at Kegel's Inn.
Stay at Saint Kate's hotel (2 nights)
Saturday morning Mitchell Park Domes visit
Possible early lunch at Swingin' Door Exchange
Afternoon Lakefront Brewery tour
Evening Brewer's game (considering going on a baseball home game weekend)
Sunday late morning leave for airport (where for breakfast before airport?)
What have we left out you think we shouldn't miss? (The motorcycle thing isn't really our cup of tea).
Should we rent a car for this itinerary, or Uber? We are happy to Uber but if driving makes more sense and parking isn't an issue, we'll rent a car.
Thanks for your help.

HI bakerstreet,
So glad you decided to make the trip! It looks like it will be a beautiful weekend weather-wise. You'll have to report back on the St. Kate. I've been to Giggly at the hotel but haven't had a chance to stay over.
Would you consider going to Miller Park on Friday after your fish fry at Kegel's? Not sure what time you get in. Kegel's is just a short distance from the ballpark, and it looks like the Brewers are playing Saturday afternoon, not Saturday night, but they are playing Friday night. Otherwise, you could probably skip the Domes, go for an earlier tour at Lakefront Brewery and head over to Miller Park for the 3:10 game on Saturday. I haven't been to the Domes in years, but they are definitely unique!
As for Brunch, I'd recommend Fool's Errand in the Third Ward (316 N Milwaukee St) or Sweet Diner at 239 E Chicago.
I think you're probably fine with Uber. Between the costs of renting, having to park it in a downtown garage or at the St. Kate, paying for parking at Miller Park, and searching for parking in some of the downtown/Third Ward areas, it wouldn't be worth the hassle to me. Some of the bars in the downtown and Deer District areas also offer shuttles to and from Miller Park. You could check with the hotel on that.
Have fun!

Thanks very much -- we're actually not going this weekend (I see my title was misleading) but the weekend of the 22nd-24th so there are games Friday night and Saturday night. Haven't bought any tickets yet so absolutely could go to Kegel's fish fry and then to the game on Friday.
In that case, what would you suggest for a Saturday night activity?
Also thinking it might be nice to fit in the Pabst Mansion; what do you think?

The Pabst Mansion is quite close to the Mitchell Park Domes. I took out-of-towners to both in one day. Considering the Pabst history in this town, it seems fitting to take it in. That weekend is also the air and water show on the lakefront, Blue Angels on the schedule on Saturday afternoon. Saturday night you could go to the club at the top of the Pfister hotel, nice view and live music. It's downtown and walkable from the St. Kate. I checked their schedule and the 23rd will feature a kind of jazz-lounge performer.
