Acqualina--anybody been there?

My husband and I are thinking of going to Acqualina over Labor Day.

Has anyone been there? If so, what did you think of it?

Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

My family is planning to go in mid-august. If you're still interested, I'll let you know.

We did finally go, the hotel was absolutely beautiful, the food fantastic, and we really lucked out with the weather. I would definitley recommend the hotel highly, my husband and I were joking that it should be 6 stars. The only caveat worth mentioning is that the hotel is still new, and there is some construction as well as the normal issues one gets in a new hotel. For example, the kitchen, beautiful, was save for the refrigerator, non-functional. And the spa is not yet open. But again, an absolutely beautiful hotel with stunning views. Go!!

I did not stay at this hotel but I did stay at the Le Meridien a few blocks away. I visited the Aqualina everyday I was there because it is breathtaking. I also dined at this hotel. It is spectacular in every way. The food, service and surroundings are better than I have ever seen. The grounds are the out of this world beautiful. The food even breakfast was terrific. I toured the hotel a little and found everything to be topnotch...
