Accomodations in July

We are going to Anchorage and Seward in July
When is it too late to book hotels or B&Bs?
Do you think it is difficult to get a decent B&B in Seward now for July? Any suggestions?
Thanks!

I was told that 4th of July is an extremely busy weekend and you want to reserve ASAP!

Try checking w/Seward chamber of commerce accomodations:

We got a room in Anchorage at the last minute but it narrowed our choices waiting that late.We probably could have found something cheaper if we had done it earlier.

I would certainly try.

Have you tried the Windsong Lodge in Seward.

I stayed at the Spring Hill Suites in Anchorage (not downtown) and the Holiday Inn which is downtown. I thought both hotels were fine. Enjoy Alaska.

You need to reserve as soon as you have your dates fixed. This will allow you more choices and price ranges. Anchorage has many areas that may not be your desired destination. I greatly perfer B&B's and there are many nice ones in both Anchorage and Seward. Request their visitor guides. www.anchorage.net www.sewardak.org
