Accomadatons Downtown Boston

Planning four day weekend visit. I would like something within walking distance of most of the sights.$100-$150 per night range.

We stayed at the Boston Park Plaza. We had a $99/night (a couple of years back. At check-in, we asked for an upgrade (location of rooms is important in this hotel because of the room layout). They upgraded us to the concierge's floor where we had a free breakfast in a private dining room the following morning. It was in a great location for us because we are big walkers but also the public transportation was very good there. We saw no need for a car. However, we stayed there just one night on our way to Bermuda.

Second the recommendation for the Park Plaza. For the best rates (much less than calling the Park Plaza directly), book through www.180096hotel.com.

For an alternative to the Hotels in Boston, try the Bed & Breakfast Agency of Boston. Prices are within your range and accomodations are excellent. 1-617-720-3540 (They accept nightly bookings). Enjoy!

I would recommend also staying at a bed and breakfast. Most are in old brownstones that are really great. I would also recommend staying in the back bay area around Newbury Street lots of great restaurants, parks and many other attractions. The T is a great way to get around the whole city and very easy. I lived in Boston while in college e-mail me if you have any specific questions would like to help you out if i can.
