That's so funny bugswife, because I always pictured you as the wife of a sweet guy with big bucked teeth - hence his nickname...

ha! Patrick, I didn't even think about that. You're probably right. Still, though, I also get envious glares. On my last trip in October, I had dinner at Ti Couz and then stopped in at Tartine Bakery in San Francisco before flying home to Honolulu. When it was time to eat the cold snack, I brought out my elaborate little dessert from Tartine instead. Heavenly.

Thanks bugswife, you speak of the talkies or live stage? I actually work in both! Tonight, I killed Scar, again. Dedicated to a dear collegue, who passed suddenly, the sound tech of our show. Dark day in the theatre for us.

..........but loved my joke.......thank you for resonding.

Sad gyppie sad, long live the king

Ryan's suggestions do sound better than the regular airline food but I'm worried about some of the things other travelers may want to bring along. A plane is a very small space to inflict some food smells on others.

We flew from Minneapolis to Houston two weeks ago and according to my husband, coach had a nice little sandwich/chips/candy deal served to them. He said the Flight Attendant told him Continental has no plans to discontinue this service. Because my husband flies often for work and thus gets a free upgrade when available, I sat in First Class with the baby (that's our rule when traveling with the baby- who ever holds the baby gets the first class seat). And I have to say that some of those first class meals are pretty good- especially the overseas flights. Those are exquisite (and I'm picky).
