Iberia Airline Food

We are booked on Iberia for a flight from ORD to Madrid in June. I noticed that our ticket says beverage only. We are flying Coach. I can't believe they wouldn't offer food on such a long flight. Anyone flown on them recently that could advise me on the food situation so I know if we have to pack food? Thanks.

That sounds strange. But in my experience their food is quite poor so I would pack something even if they do offer a meal!

I've flown them a few times and always got the one hot meal and one snack that are the norm on any transatlantic flights. I actually thought their food was at least as good as any of the others.

0311 : Go to airlinemeals.net and you can see exactly what you might expect to eat on that airline and possibly that exact flight.

In the ORD-MAD sector, you get a dinner and a breakfast.
