Out of Anchorage, there is Alamo, Dollar, Payless, Thrifty, Enterprise. Compare them all. Picking up off airport can yield significant savings. KEEP checking after booking. Alamo sometimes runs specials, that I have booked.

I just spent a week in Homer and Seward. We did the bear viewing and fishing in Homer and crisse and fishing in Seward I highly recommend doing small baot cruise I used Saltwater Lodge at 159 on line booking. I did fishing also with them but unforunately they couldn;t do salmon because there running late this year. I recommend hiking Lost lake out od Seward(7 miles) but be prepared for snow up to ankles take extra socks and wear boots if u have, Also take gloves because its cold still. any other things u need to know let me know. Thr scenary in Alaska is awesome the cruise was special since we did get to see all including breaching Oracs in a pod.
