A llittle pleasure before business

I'll be in Manhattan Beach for work next week and thankfully I've found great info on the boards about the MB area, so I'm looking forward to spending time there. However, I'm coming in a day early to possibly see some old friends, but if that falls through, I'm interested in a day trip/excursion within an hour or two of Manhattan Beach. Also need a place to stay, preferably a reasonably priced ($100 or less) B&B. Initially Cambria sounded good, but then I mapped it and it's a bit farther out than I want to venture. Any other suggestions?

ChicagoDallasGirl, instead of reposting, just click on your post and type TTT (To The Top) to top your original thread.

It's 5:30 PM on the west coast and I'm sure the posters who live in that area are commuting or having dinner or whatever.

Also, posting with the location in your header such as:

"A Little Pleasure Before Dinner in Manhattan Beach California, Need B&B Under $100"

The above may get you better replies.

I was planning a similar trip last year and planned to stay in Ventura on points. I just checked out bedandbreakfast.com and there's one option there that may fall in your price range.
