9/11 Memorial at Carnegie Hall
If you are going to be in NYC on 9/11 there is a concert going on as a Memorial to those killed being presented by the Juilliard Chorus and Orchestra. The concert is FREE but you must get a ticket at the box office. Tickets are available on 9/11 and I plan on being there around 8am. Only 2 tickets per request.
The concert will be the Mozart Requium, sung by the chorus and anyone wishing to sing from the audience is welcome to do so. Some scores will be available at the door, but you would be encouraged to bring your own score.
More information is available at www.carnegiehall.org.
If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask, I will be one of the singers.

Thanks.
I forget whether it was Vienna or Berlin who played a memorial concert at St. Patrick's Cathedral. That was poignant. Also Berlin decided to change their program for that year. They were slated to play Mahler 7, if I remember right. They switched to Beethoven.
Anyway this has nothing to do with your posting, necessarily, but it did bring back some memories. I can't attend your concert since it's on a Monday at 12:30 pm, but thanks for the notice.
