7 days how many in Sedona vs Vegas?
Ok, 7 days in June - how many days should we spend in Sedona/Grand Canyon and Vegas? Never been to either, researching now, was going to do 3 nights in Sedona and 3 or 4 in Vegas?
Suggestions?

That sounds about right. Others may have a different opinion, but after 3-4 days in Vegas, I need a break, os that's about my limit.
BTW, again just an opinion, but I'd do Vegas first and then Sedona: first you party, then you relax amid the peace.
I'm assuming you're going to take a day trip to the GC from Sedona, which would leave you 2-3 days in Sedona, also just about right.

We did this trip several years ago. Flew into Phoenix. Planned on spending 3 nts Sedona, 2 nts Grand Canyon,2 nts Las Vegas, fly out of Vegas.
We went in Feb. and were unable to go to the Grand Canyon because of a snowstorm. We extended our stay in Sedona--we are hikers, so it was great--and we were staying at the fabulous Enchantment Resort--no sacrifice to stay 2 extra nights there.
Three nts in Las Vegas would be my limit.
If I were you, I would hate to miss the Grand Canyon.
Budget Car Rental did not charge a one way drop off fee.

DL 7 days in Sedona/GC will keep you busy. If you don't mind me saying so plan a week in Scottsdale, Sedona, GC or Sedona/GC. LV is a big ole bright light city. Fly in there one night and spend two/three days then go home. Take the week at Sedona/GC......you won't regret it..........

Thanks for your input! My goal is to stay in Sedona 4 nights, on the ridge of the grand canyon 1 and then head to Vegas to meet up with friends for the last part of the trip. Not a big party person, but I need to meet up with them and see Vegas once in my life.
Now, I am having trouble deciding on where to stay in Sedona. Ideally, I'd like to spend $200-$250/night and would like some nice views of the red rocks, something romantic and a very nice swimming pool. Suggestions??? I was looking at The Southwest in at Sedona.
