6:00 am Flight from LaGuardia, need Hotel advice please

Hello all,
I am taking an early morning flight from LaGuardia in April, and I feel it would be better to just stay somewhere near the airport the night before.
I'm looking for a quiet, close location that might offer a parking package so I could leave my vehicle there for the week.
Any suggestions appreciated.

I don't know of anything quiet but the Wyndham looks nice. I think parking is around $15 per day.

You might want to consider riding the Metro North RR in. Either take the $13 shuttle from Grand Central to the airport, or if you are not carrying much luggage, yget off Metro North at 125th St and take the M60 must to LGA - $2

rb

I wouldn;t reco this for a 6 am flights - the trains don;t run that often, the buses definitely don;t run often in the middle of the night - and I'm not sure I would want to be waiting for one on the street corner at 4:30 am.

Forget about Metro North trains at that hour. Morning service doesn't start until after 6 a.m.

RE: MetroNorth: I meant for getting to a hotel for a stay the night before his flight.

I've come down the night before a similarly early flight & stayed at the HI/AYH Hostel ... but don't think most would do that ... but still got to LGA in time for early flights, using M60 bus both from MetroNorth and from 106th & Broadway.

rb, parking costs would be so much higher in Manhattan. Plus, you'd have to be on the bus by 2:30AM for a 6AM flight.

You can walk from the Marriott and I think they offer long term parking. Also a Courtyard a few blocks away. Call hotel re parking.
