Kal! You naughty boy! >

Let's see. Kal's been to Oahu. I'2's been to Oahu and soon the BI. Hmmm. Who are the traitors? I'm just following the example of my ELDERS. I'm going back for further research, I promise. And I'2? The check is in the mail. It'll be the one with the mysterious white powder in it.

Talc???

I've been to Neville Island, Treasure Island, Manhattan Island, Angel Island and sometimes Mrs Kal dresses up in a little white suit and takes me to Fantasy Island!

Kauai is a state of mind.

Well, you boys can keep your silly white powder........just checked and it seems as if Delta is at it again. Not flying from ATL-KOA........so, if that's the way they want to act, we may just have to jump in on the research project and stay on the hh the entire time.

sistahlou,

Welcome to posting at Fodors. I see that you're new and you've been keeping yourself VERY busy. An addicted fodorite in training, perhaps? Aloha sistah!

Speaking of research, we dicovered this past February (and again in July ) that our old Foodland Makai discount card that we obtained a few years back on Kauai, is still in good working order on Maui.

Ah yes, Kalihiwai Beach, only place I've seen in the Sandwich Isles (one week at a time) with a decently sandy beach head and good body-surfing. Fondly remember the 3'-5' breakers one Feb. 2003 ...and then, upon returning in June, they had all disappeared. #39;(

I would never go back to Kauai, too many people there that don't like it. Well, I guess there just stuck with it.

(How do you you keep them down in Poipu, once they've seen Kihei?)

Did not! [-(

Here's my visual:

Kal standing in front of one of sistah's beach bonfires, fanning it furiously (and nicely) with a palm frond.

Where in the world is John D to add to this mix? Eddie, Beaver and Wally!

Boys, straighten up and wash your hands for dinner!

Daydreamin, I just loved this... "there’s just something wonderful about waking up from a quick nap on a beach that’s so beautiful it defies description....ahhhhh!

close my eyes and I'm there!!!

and you dogs settle down now... time for a nap.
