Please help. Need destination ideas for 40th B-day celebration (Fall 2003) besides a cruise. There are 6 family members (3 couples). We have done Alaska cruise, which we all loved due to excursions - would like something a little cheaper. We need a resort, city/town or area with variety of activities for everyone, preferably Canada, US or Mexico for 5 day trip. Do not want to do lots of driving, most recent trip together we did too much driving in WY & MT. Ideas?

How about a big city like NYC or San Francisco where you don't have to drive at all. See some shows, shop, musuems-plenty of activities for all.

New York, anytime. Plays, museums, touristy stuff, shopping, restaurants, and the cirle line tour!

I suggest either Key West or New Orleans, plenty to do for everyone.

Jenn is right, both of those places have enough to do that everyone should be able to find something they like, great food & no car necessary.
