We'll be in Miami for about 3 nights in early February. We were last in Miami a few years pre-pandemic and stayed in South Beach. We liked the location but wondered where another good location might be, just for variety. Specific hotel recommendations welcome or even apartments. Budget upper-mid range. Thanks for your help!

What exactly is upper mid-range in dollars in Miami? How is that determined?

We'd be willing to spend up to $300 a night. Not sure if that's mid or upper mid in Miami.

I am also going to Miami (or maybe Ft. Lauderdale) in February so would love to hear hotel recommendation.

We ended up choosing the Vagabond Hotel on Biscayne Blvd. Seems a little quirky which is fine by me.
