Carnival 3 day cruises from LA have gotten horrible reviews. They are basically 3 day long drunken frat parties.
I would research and post your question on www.cruisecritic.com

Hi again, donnae_b,
I have only seen 5-day and longer cruises from San Diego. I believe the 5-day one sails as far as Cabo.
We did the 3-day cruise from L.A. on Royal Caribbean last October, and we didn't find it to be too rowdy. Maybe all the frat boys were partying back at school
.
That being said, the food was mediocre at best, and Ensenada is not a very exciting port of call.

RB, thank you, I will check out that website.
lvk, thank you for your input. A bunch of us girls from work want to do a short cruise. We've done Ensenada, but, want to try something different. It looks like Ensenada might be our only choice.
