25th Anniversary.....Which.....

Resort would you choose if $$$ was not a problem.

(1)Fly to Seattle and then to Salt Spring Island for 4 nights at Hastings House then back to Seattle for 2 nights at Fairmont Seattle.....

(2) Fly to Grand Cayman for 5/6 nights at The Ritz Carlton.

(3) Fly to Bermuda for 3rd time and stay 5/6 nights at The Reefs...........

(4) Fly to Savannah, GA and spend 3/4 nights at Inn at Palmetto Bluff then drive back to Savannah for two nights at The Gastonian........

(5) Fly to Burlington, VT then drive to Warren, VT and stay a few nights at The Pitcher Inn then drive to Auberge Hatley in Cananda for a few nights then back to BTV for the flight home.

These are places I have never been except for Bermuda.

Other great suggestions are certainly accepted. I have been to FL, NO, LA, SFO, LA, Vancouver, Quebec City, Nantucket, Dallas, AZ, CO, NM, NC, SC, GA, Maryland, VA, et al.

Thanks.

Ike, have you been to NYC? If not, I'd say go there.

Island wise, I'd go with Anguilla over Grand Cayman.

We go to NYC once a year Go Travel. It's my wife's favorite city and we have reservations next week if my grand child arrives on time. We are going to Anguilla in May. We have been to 4/5 Caribbean islands but not Anguilla. We could see the island when we visited St. Martin.

What about 5/6 days in Las Vegas. I am 60 now and running out of spots to go to. I have not traveled in Europe a great deal because I love the U. S. and Canada so much. I went to Vancouver Island and Victoris but I want to go to Salt Spring Island. I went on an Alaskan cruise last year but my wife does not like boats.

I'm down to San Diego, Seattle, Oregon, Boston, Las Vegas or VT.......thanks for all the help.

I would be traveling in August on our 23rd anniversary. Thanks.

Your date narrows it down for me!

In August, hands down Seattle!

Skip Savannah and Grand Cayman only because of the extreme heat and humidity of August. Otherwise, gorgeous.

I'd go to Grand Cayman, even in August.

Cayman would be my choice, although I'm partial to that place.

fyi - Did you see this link for trip report at Ritz in Cayman - photo of pool at night looks fabulous! http://www.fodors.com/forums/threads...5&tid=34770614
