25th Anniversary Suggestions in December

We are looking for a very special place to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary this upcoming December for a long weekend - and we live in KY, but we'd like a cold area - we've been to Asheville - specifically The Grove Park Inn - any other ideas in the Smokeys or Blue Ridge Mountain area that is more like an inn, that serves all meals and perhaps has a spa, if not a place that is just warm and cozy? Thanks!

I have some ideas, but it would help to know your price range and things you like to do and eat.

How about Nuwray?

Looks like they might have a Christmas special. The food is outstanding.

http://www.blackberryfarm.com/ near the Smokey Mountains in Tennessee is wonderful with amazing food - but it is pricey!

The Swag Inn in NC or the Greystone near Lake Toxaway in NC. Both very special places.

I've never stayed there myself but I do know someone who went to the Biltmore for a big anniversary. http://www.biltmore.com/stay/ It comes highly recommended if you can afford it.

I am not sure why the response about Primland is formatted so oddly, but I blame my Droid.

I second Greenbrier. Blackberry Farm is the # 1 resort in America.
