WHICH Disney??? Land or World? It makes a pretty significant difference.

You may want to rent a car. There is a lot around the area that you need a car to get to -- and there are usually pretty cheap rates in Florida for rentals. Two weeks is quite a long stretch in Orlando. You may enjoy Splendid China, a site not far from Disney World. If you had a car your could drive out to Cape Canaveral, which is fascinating. There is a great peddlers market out by Mt. Dora, FLA, which is about 30 mi north of Orlandol. Mt. Dora is a charming town, with delightful shops, a beautiful old hotel, and a nice lake. Your weather should be fine, unless there's a hurricane.

If you are going to Disney in L.A. RENT A CAR. You will go crazy in Anaheim for 2 weeks. It's ugly and there's not much to do once you've done the theme park thing. If you have a car, go to the beach, Hollywood, Beverly Hills and then go to San Diego for a night or two. It's a beautiful drive ( under 2 hours ) and it's well worth the trip.

You can easily fill two week in Disney (if you mean World) alone. And you wont need a car. Stay at the All Star Resorts (on-site is a must) since you wont spend any time in your room! If you must have luxury, the Polynesian is lovely and right on the monorail.
