1st time skiing help needed
My husband and I are planing on a March or April ski trip. Niether of us have skied before. We are looking for beginner slopes. We also want a town that has a classic ski town feeling. We would prefer to stay in a ski in/ski out type of place. We need lessons, and equipment rentals. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thanks!! I'm really excited about this trip.

Where are you wanting to ski (rockies, east coast)? If Colorado, try www.skicolorado.com for info.

I also love Winter Park. We stay at Timber House Ski Lodge, where breakfast, afternoon snacks and dinner are included. They drive you to the hill in the morning, and will pick you up in the afternoon if you don't want to ski back in.
I'd also recommend Steamboat Springs; great skiing and a "real' towm.
