I think I remember hearing the joke about scrod... (I think it was just plain past tense in the joke I heard, but could be past perfect as well, but never mind..)

One place I haven't seen mentioned is the Pru. On a clear day you can see NH from the observation deck. There is also a restaurant. (Top of the Pru) I don't know what foodies think of the food, but my friend and I just enjoy sitting down after a day of sightseeing/shopping and watching the view while we talk, eat and pretend to be women of the world. (We are actually a pair of retired school teachers from the country who do a trip into Boston every once in a while.)
