Yellowstone/Seattle Summer 2009
I live in the midwest and am hoping we can manage two destinations next summer with one airline booking. I could really use some suggestions. I joined AAA this year in hopes to get some travel help on road trips - and our local office is very disappointing. They don't seem to be able to offer me anything that I haven't been able to find in the books or on Fodors on my own. Our family of 5 could fly out of Chicago or St. Louis. Options would be A) Is there an airline that flies from CHI or STL to SeaTac with a layover in Billings/Bozeman? We could take a 4 day layover in MT, connect to Seattle - then fly back to the midwest. B) Fly into an airport near Yellowstone, then drive to Seattle. Fly home via Seattle.
We have two sets of friends we would like to try and see next summer. Any suggestions would be very appreciated!

Sites like itasoftware and amadeus are a good source for finding what airlines serve which routes. Or you could just look on the airports' own websites.
AAA is likely of use if you want to go to Disney, take a Trafalgar tour, or have someone else map out a route for a road trip, but not otherwise.
As suze says, you need to repost on the US board, and perhaps the airlines board.

I think the forum title "Smart Travel Tips" is confusing, because pretty much anything on Fodor's forum could be considered one.
But the intent by the Editors as I understand it, is this one is meant for general things like packing or solo travel? Kind of a catch all for things other than the destination forums like US or Europe.
