Where to go - Mexico, Dominican Republic, Cuba or Cape Verde???

Hi

We are looking for book an all inclusive holiday in May/June time. We have been presented with a number of options, and wondered if anyone could advise which would suit us best?

We are late 20s, and going with another couple. We will probably spend the majority of the holiday at the resort, and enjoy nice food and drinks. However it would be nice to have the option to go out and about and see some local culture?

Thanks in advance

Suggest you ask about possible resorts on the geographic boards, and then check reviews. Not many people read this board.

"enjoy nice food and drinks"

If that is what you want, I suggest you forget 'all-inclusive' package holidays. Very few of them offer what I would call 'nice food and drinks.'

Mexico gets my vote. I'm not crazy about the DR. Haven't been to Cuba or Cape Verde to comment on those.

DR is the land of "all inclusives." You'll have your pick of all price ranges, age ranges, etc.

If you're not an American citizen, then I would go to Cuba. It's a place I would love to go to but we aren't allowed. It looks like an interesting place full of culture that has a retro feel to it.
