What happens if I washed my passport while on vacation?

I did something bad while on vacation in Thailand.. I washed my passport and now it looks all waterlogged!

Im wondering if I will be allowed back into my country, New Zealand.

Thanks

The usual solution is to get it replaced.

Call the New Zealand consulate/embassy in Thailand and ask them directly.

Thanks so much! I went to the New Zealand consulate and they gave me a form to travel with.

Thanks again, everyone!

Tsk, tsk, now you know yet another reason you should never ever carry your passport in a pocket, beyond issues of theft or when going through an airport security check -- especially for a forgetful person.
