I doubt I will ever go to Egypt. Although it was not really on my bucket list.
I think Japan would be at the top for a country I have never been to. .
But more of Mexico is far more likely.
baldone I am surprised you have not been to the Yucatan. There is a lot to explore there.

Mlgb, our experience with the Yucatan Peninsula is/was limited to Isla Mujeres, Holbox, and very briefly Tulum & PDC. Back before we moved to Mexico. But i want to tour the gulf area from Veracruz up to Merida and points in between.

I am SO glad your trip is still on. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. I'm sure some things have changed since we took the trip though.

great news goddess! Have missed you in the lounge. Enjoy Israel.
To answer the original question, I think I probably am feeling too old and used to a cushy life to head to India although I always expected to get there.
I do think I'll get to Japan one of these days.
Agree that Australia and New Zealand are too, too far but thankfully I did get there back in 2014. I'm so glad my husband pushed me to go with him.

Are you still going with Tauck? If so, I hope they haven't changed much of the tour.

No, the tour is being run by the the Baltimore Zionist District (we don't have to leave from Baltimore; we still fly from and to Toronto) but the actual tour itself is from a company called Isramisrael. A friend of mine went on a tour of theirs with a NY group and she raved about it.

gruezi, a friend of mine and her husband went to Morocco last year and did the whole thing with a private tour guide. They're planning on doing India the same way this year. It's very expensive (too expensive for me!) but it makes the trip much easier. Or what about a tour group in India similar to the one I'm taking in Israel.

Oh, that's a coincidence! I remembered someone (probably you) suggesting Tauck on my earlier post about tour companies. I'm going to see if I can find girlonthego's posts. If we're there at the same time maybe we can meet up for a mini gtg!
(But are you sure it wasn't me?)
