I can't find any of her posts about Israel. If you want to pm her, just go to your pm's and send one to her name.

Uzbekistan. Stunning Silk Road sites of Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva. Lush Fergana valley.
Modern Spanish-manufactured Afrosiyob trains traveling up to 250km/h. Good food, fabulous fruits and vegetables. Friendly people.
Safe with the special tourist police everywhere. Their job is to protect you also from scams.
our experience below. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately, girlonthego and I never managed to meet up. I think our tours kept us pretty busy but I like to think that somewhere, sometime, we were in the same place!
DK2022, we haven't been to Uzbekistan but coincidentally our last group dinner in Israel was in an Uzbeki restaurant called Samarkand!

The place I've wanted to visit, and was scheduled to visit before covid cancelled it, is Russia. I certainly won't be going there at any point of my life now.

We went to Russia in 2003 and are glad we did that trip although I have no desire to return there.

Brazil - I am sitting here @ 05;30 am watching a Simon Reeve documentary on Brazil. Amazing! We have spent probably a couple of years travelling around South America on various trip and only set foot in Brazil briefly at Fox de Iguazu to see the falls. Most definitely on our list for when we get around to travelling again.
