Spain Trip
As a wheelchair bound person, I am becoming concerned about access to sights, museums, etc on a trip we are planning to the Galicia area of Spain. Will the accessibility issues be similiar to those experienced in the US, or might they be more severe? Would hate to get to Spain only to learn I am restricted to the sidewalk areas of large cities!
Any information anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Hi dickp ~ As Debi said, I would repost your question on the Europe board. I would also possibly change your title to somthing like, "Wheelchair accessible sights in the Galicia area of Spain". The more specific your title is, usually the more replies you will receive.
Best wishes!

Rick Steves has a book Accessible Europe (not sure if it covers Spain) and on his website people have posted their experiences. There are links listed to other information also.
