Self Weighing Luggage

I have seen it ALL. Sams Club is carrying a line of luggage that comes with a built-in digital scale with a little window that indicates the weight of the luggage. Will miracles never cease !!!!!

Let me know when they come out with a self-packing one.

Oh, and it manages to put itself back in the attic afterwards.

I can't wait until they come out with one that just automatically arrive at the destination and then back home without me having to lug it around myself.

well, i think that would be very handy especially say in Europe where some of the budget carriers have strict luggage weight limits.

I'd much prefer a chip which tells me where the heck they've sent my suitcase to!

Can't I dream about not having my luggage lost? And I don't mean additional body weight

My DW bought one of those pieces of luggage last year (not sure where, but not at Sam's). Couldn't believe it when she brought it home. [starrsvile - I was actually thinking pretty much the same thing at the time] It's actually come in pretty handy - especially for those people (whom I won't dare mention!!) tend to overpack and exceed weight restrictions.
