Scotland
Hello,
I will go on stage in Dundee, Scotland.
Who can tell me something about prices in Scotland and the most common supermarkets?
Is there a train-station at the airport in Edinburgh? If not, what is the distance to the nearest station?
Thank you a lot!

There is no train station at the Edinburgh airport, but there is a bus that goes to the two train stations in the center of the city. I beleive the main train station is at Waverly, by the North Bridge, and the bus will drop you off across the street from the station. The bus takes about 30 minutes, and tickets are sold right at the exit to the airport, in front of the bus - 5 pounds return, if memory serves. The bus ticket is included in the price of the Edinburgh Pass (20 pounds for one day).
We were just in Edinburgh over Thanksgiving, and my impression was that prices were high - it doesn't help that the exchange rate between the Pound and Dollar is horrible right now. You can roughly double the price in pounds to arrive at the price in dollars. Edinburgh is also a generally expensive city
