There is no such thing as lost, only a unique way of getting to our destination. This quote came from my DH when he announce we weren't lost but that he thought taking this unique route would be more scenic.
This works for me. Since then when it looks like we are 'lost" we call it taking the "scenic route".
And when we're REALLY lost, he announces we're off the beaten path of the scenic route.
