I actually looked at AA's prices to London/Geneva for the fall, since they are waiving change fees. There was no deal, the prices were high and I did not book.

Our neighbour, the oh-so mysterious retired investment banker from London, is among the most traveled folks we know. He held our hands and patted our heads today after we collapsed weeping on our front lawn moments after Air Canada cancelled all flights to Italy. "There there," he comforted, and pointed out that there will very likely be deals to be had for those who do their homework. He is seldom wrong.
I am done. The kleenex.

Probably shouldn't be holding hands right now.
