We love to travel, but we also need to make time to visit my mother in law. I'd like to come up with some travel ideas so she can come with us.

We like to hike/be on the water/be adventurous. She likes to shop, eat locally sourced foods, and be pampered. So we need a place that we can go off during the day while she walks around town. We would be travelling from Boston, and she'd be from Philly.

There will be two elementary aged boys as well.

She does love Disney (boardwalk hotel), but we need other options.

If you want to travel in the States - You'll get more/better response if you re-post on the United States board (or Canada or Caribbean or wherever)
