Here you go:

A bit heavier:

Victorinox also makes some convertible bags.

Er, no - you don't want a backpack with wheels - they weigh way too much!

If you're in the US visit your nearest REI store. Or check out Eagle Creek (eg http://www.eaglecreek.com/bags_lugga...ive-65L-10066/ - the straps zip out the way for flights) North Face may have something, too.

The pack you recommend is less than 1 lb lighter than the Isi. I'm not saying that one should choose a backpack with wheels, but that is what I took the OP to mean, when they asked for a "suitcase and a backpack".

I took "suitcase and a backpack" to mean a convertible backpack, which is what I use. You can still buy suitcases without wheels... Actually, when packing, I do care about every ounce.

I was picturing they wanted two pieces... say a 22" rolling suitcase and a day-pack in addition?

You might like this backpack (http://www.briggs-riley.com/category...ackpack_TD-331 ) and this wheeled carry-on (http://www.briggs-riley.com/category...pright_TD-U520 ) from Briggs & Riley’s Transcend collection. Both bags are backed by BR’s incredible lifetime warranty that covers all repairs free of charge. You can check out the product specifications on their website for more details on the two bags. If you place your order this month, they will ship it to you free of charge.
