Have you ever heard of Meetup.com? There are nation-wide meetups, and many cities have groups that focus solely on those who like to travel. You might want to consider looking into a travel meetup in your area...and if one doesn't exist, you might want to start one. You might have more luck getting a compatible cruisemate if you have a chance to meet them in person, etc.

You might also do better asking on the Cruise board. I travel solo, but am totally not a cruise person - although I do sometimes wonder whether a transatlantic boat trip might be preferable to the pain that air travel has become!

Definitely post on the cruise board also. I love 'Solo Traveler' board, but not that many people participate here. The likelyhood of finding a travel companion is slim to none, I'm afraid.

I would also suggest getting a separate email that you don't mind posting publicly for this particular purpose.
