Las Vegas in December

After watching a few episodes of CSI,I guess it can get pretty cold in December. Should I bring leather jacket and long pants, especially for the evenings. How cold during the day? Still need a sweater? Do folks get really dressed up for the shows? Don's want to over pack as that can get really expensive these days.

We've been to LV twice in December. We've worn jeans/pants and short sleeves, as well as sweatshirts, light long sleeves. I would bring long pants but I don't know if you need a leather jacket. At the shows, people wear anything from jeans and t-shirts to very dressy skirts and dresses. Have a great time!

December does get cold in Vegas. We were there in Dec. in 2006 and it was downright freezing when we were hanging out at Carnaval Court by Harrah's. They had the space heaters on all around the bar but it didn't really matter.

I would definitely bring the jacket, and you're going to need to wear pants everyday. Shorts won't be necessary for that time of year.

Depends what you call cold. We went in Dec 2006 and I was wandering round during the day in shorts and a tea shirt in a pleasant 68F.

Bit cooler at night but never needed a coat.

I think the chances of cold are high enough in Vegas in December, I'd bring a jacket.
