Las Vegas Shows - What to Wear

Does anyone know the proper attire for a show in Vegas? We're going to one at the MGM Grand and one at the Bellagio. We're there next week (May 17)

Anything besides a swimsuit and flip-flops. Neither Ka or O or any show in Vegas is formal.

I don't like to wear jeans to a show, I wear nice slacks and a nice blouse and DH wears dockers and polo shirt, but RBCal is right, people usually wear what ever they want.

You will see everything from ratty shorts to cocktail dresses and suits. But casual rules the day in general.

Dress for where you will be going to dinner. If you're eating at In-n-Out Burger, it doesn't matter, but the more upscale restaurants will expect nicer dress.

It will be hot outside, but inside may be freezing - they don't save electricity on air conditioners there in Vegas! Unless you plan on warming up from inside with margaritas, bring a sweater - you might need it.

I think as long as you have a top and bottoms of some sort on, you will be allowed in.

We were at O last week.. I wore a nice capris with a shirt and sweater.. it was a little chilly.. We had 2nd row seating.. you might get some mist on you if you are that close...

We also saw Ka 2 years ago.. I wore a nice dress to it.. but you see all sorts of attires.. a lot of people around us at O were dressed business casual...but you will see jeans, etc.
