Itinerary Program Advice

Hi all,
I see there are a few free programs out there to help put together very nice itineraries.. I would like to check with people who have tried and used some...which one is best...if there are other very good programs even for pay I don't mind purchasing either...if it's well worth to have and use. Thanks so much in advance!

The best way to put together an itinerary is to do it yourself.

I agree with thursdaysd -- get several good guidebooks, or consult them at your local library, and decide what YOU want to see and experience and HOW you want to do it.

Of course i'm putting it together myself, based on guidebooks and on much valuable info from the wonderful travel people here. I'm asking about a program like 'tripit' and others, which just help you put all your travel time and destinations, along with all related info, on paper, very neatly organized. I thought it's cool to have in hand on print. I was just wondering which one the travel pros recommend.

I just use a spreadsheet program. No need to get fancy.

Sorry I misunderstood! I don't use anything but my own spreadsheets and word documents, so I can't comment on your options.

Try Tripcase, free app.
I have used it for my Europe trip last year and it was very helpful to have on my phone. Of course I kept paper copies of all bookings in a note book, which I also used as a diary as we went along.
