Honeymoon in June - Where?
Any suggestions for where to take a honeymoon in June? We would like something warm/beachy that isnt too difficult (i.e. someplace we could get around easily speaking English). We would like someplace other than the Caribean or Hawaii. thank you in advance!!!

You might consider Mexico-- there are some nice adult all inclusive resort around Playa del Carmen (unless you consider that part of the Caribbean, in which case maybe you want to check for places on the Pacific coast).
I suppose Spain's Costa del Sol is another possibility, but it's pretty built up.

Maui or Oahu are both lovely and would be perfect for a honeymoon.
I love Puerto Vallarta dearly and the entire west Pacific coast of Mexico is nice, but it is hot and rainy season in the summer months.

My husband has stayed here and can't stop talking about how great it was.

The perfect place would be the island of Hvar in Croatia, beyond the shadow of a doubt!
We (two teenaged boys and my husband) just returned from a few weeks in Slovenia and Croatia. Book a flight into and out of Dubrovnik, or into Dubrovnik and out of Split (Those two coastal cities are four hours apart on the Adriatic; Hvar is an island in the middle of them.) Stay in Dubrovnik at the Pucic Palace in the amazing Old Town, or just outside the Old Town at the Grand Hotel Excelsior.
Take the ferry to Hvar from either city. It's a gorgeous ride. A magnificent and easy island, different, reasonably priced still, and the scenery is spellbindingly incredible. Stay at the Amfora Beach hotel, just built, beautiful, ask for a high floor with a sea view. Dreamy.
If you decide to do it, email me and I'll give you more details. We left June 13 and returned June 30. What memories!
