I took a Viator tour this past June, of the Alhambra in Granada Spain. We were very happy with the tour, although we didn't get started with the actual touring until an hour after it was supposed to start - but I blame this more on the crazy-busy-crowdedness of the Alhambra at that time than the tour guides.
The guide was very informative, personable, and had a good sense of humor. He was Spanish but his English was very clear. The tour bus picked us up where they said they would and at the appointed time.
I considered it money well spent, especially as like I said, the Alhambra was so crowded. I doubt if I'd got much out of the Alhambra if I went without the guide.
The tour was done with headsets as well.
This was a half-day tour. Group was a reasonable size, about 12-15 people.
It's the only tour I've done with Viator, but I'd use them again, based on my experience with this last one.
Only cons I can think of, is this - there were way too many tours going on all at the same time, along with individuals touring on their own. The whole atmosphere was very chaotic. But, again, I think this was just the Alhambra in summer experience, more than the fault of Viator or the guides.
