I keep seeing amazing deals on Groupon and I wonder if anyone has booked with them. Deals like 8 days in London and Paris for $899 with airfare. I know when you click on them the dates are limited and some times the price goes up. That said, I can usually still find a good price. It looks like a lot of these are offered by travel companies which could be goor or bad depending on if the company is honest. I also worry the place you will be staying turns out to be the place that the movie Hostel was based off of. What can I say I am a sketic?

If it was me (and it isn't) I'd avoid the Groupon deals. You can find great deals on various cruise websites like vacations to go or united cruises and you'll know exactly what you are getting.

I am skeptical of Groupon deals, based on investigating their deals on goods. On research into reviews on non-groupon sites, they seem to be selling more sizzle than steak. So for travel deals, I would research heavily before laying out cash.

I might use a Groupon to try out a new gym or nail salon here in Seattle. A trip to Europe... not so much.

Any sites I suggest for good travel deals? Maybe an app that searches multiple sites. I find travelocity type sites are ok for hotels but not so much for resports or trips out of countryand resorts.
