The trouble is that in southern mainland Europe, the weather is really unpredictable at that time of the year. You can have pleasantly warm days with temperatures around 16ºC, but you can then get several days of lower temperatures, wind and rain.

I would like to suggest you Lisbon if you are planning a tour in Europe. You can enjoy spotting gothic cathedrals, lounging on the beaches and exploring interesting museums. January is the coolest month of the year in Lisbon but as it enjoys a sub-tropical Mediterranean climate, it enjoys fairly mild winters. The average temperature reaches a high of 13°C (that's about 55°F), and at night can dip as low as 7°C (about 45°F). If you are really looking for an amazing vacation, then try to visit Solomon Islands. From weather to culture and from fishing to Scuba diving in Solomon Islands, all would amaze you and complete your trip. Try Heritage Park Hotel, King Solomon Hotel and Uepi Island Resort for better stay.
