Disneyland with Public transit?

My cousin and her mom (visiting from Italy) will be in Upland, CA next week and want to experience Disneyland. Can they somehow get there with public transit on a week day? Are there any tour companies that we could use for the day, say one that would pick them up/drop them off at the Ontario airport maybe? My parents won't be able to drive from Upland to Disneyland and back, and I live in San Francisco area. Thank you!

Go to this Wikipedia page:

http://wikitravel.org/en/Disneyland

and scroll down to By Transit and see if that information is helpful. I'm not from SC so just trying to help you research.

How about calling a travel agency in your parent's area and see if they know of any tours from Upland.

Here is another listing for Supershuttle and info on Taxi from Ontario airport:

You mentioned you are going to LA on Amtrack, here is a link about using Amtrack to get to Disneyland:
www.disneymouselinks.com/Amtrack-Disneyland.aspx

Hope this helps. See what else I can find.

I don't know where Upland is, but from LA area you can get Grayline

http://tinyurl.com/5w84w4

They pick up in numerous locations and I think there are other buses in competition.

This is a link for Omnitrans, the bus system for the Upland/Ontario/San Bernardino area. I think the link has directions from the airport to Disneyland but you have to put in days because routes run differently on weekends. http://omnitrans.org/routes/destinations.shtml

If this doesn't work, another option might be Metrolink, a rail system from Upland through Riverside and into Orange County.

If I were really desperate, I might also try calling the park customer service and ask for resources or suggestions. All they can say is they don't know either.

Good Luck!
