Christmas break vacation destination ideas?

Hi... For once we are getting over a week off for christmas break but due to certain reasons were unable to plan a vacation until now. Would like to get away from Boston winter. Any suggestions for a family friendly vacation with a 2 yr old and an 8 yr old at a reasonable cost? flexible on travel dates between 21st dec and 31st. I am probably asking for the impossible here but that is why I am turning to the experts! Thanks in advance!

How about Florida - Orlando is a great place for Children with all the amusement parks. You could drive down from there to Miami as well.

This time of year everything will be more expensive than usual, but if you're flexible, flights on Dec 24 will be cheapest, or the day or two before are cheaper than the 21st. Google has a good flight search engine where you can see multiple destinations at once so you can get some ideas:

Merry Christmas!

ok.. so i would like to spend less than 800/person for flight+hotel. Based on this, I am coming up with Puerto rico/bermuda as options. LOVE the google flight search tool. Thanks! any other ideas?

Bermuda will not be warm so I would go with Puerto Rico if those are your choices.

oh you are right... i thought Bermuda would be warm as well. It will be spring like weather. Better than Boston but PR would be even better. Thanks!
