Volunteering in Cochabamba, Bolivia

Hi all.

Does anyone have any experience or recommendations of outfits that arrange volunteer placements for middle aged folk in Cochabamba, Bolivia.?

I can't give you any specifics, but many church groups take volunteers to Bolivia. Perhaps a local church could point you in some direction.

I´ve been talking to some companies who can arrange something for us, and wonder if anyone has any experience or info about them ?

Franciscan Mission Service is a Catholic non-profit that trains, supports and sends missioners to Cochabamba, Bolivia for two years at a time.

Kind of off topic - but just wanted to mention the movie "Even the Rain" which we enjoyed from Netflix a couple nights ago. It was filmed in and around Cochabamba - the mts look beautiful.
A very good movie based on an interesting idea. ..

I know the movie you talking about it, it is something that a person have to wacth to understand the real situation of these countries in South America.
