Can anyone recommend a tour company to do the Inca Trail? Any suggestions on itinerary? So far, my daughter and I fly into Lima, spend 2 days, then go to Cusco, spend 2 days to acclimatize. I would like to hike the trail to Machu Picchu and then we are free for another 4 nights, any suggestions would be helpful.

Are you looking for an Inca trail tour where you camp out at night? Or something more "upscale"? We did this Salkantay Trail lodge-to-lodge trek earlier this year and it was sensational. Its longer than the Inca Trail at 6 nights on the trail, plus a night in Aguas Calientes, but there are also far far fewer people on the Salkantay trail than on the actual Inca trail.
