We are a family of 4 (kids aged 17 and 20) first time travelers out of country and looking at Mexico or South america for 8-9 days in July 2024. We are looking for the below in the order of priority 1. Nature and scenic views 2. Underwater animals/scenery (or limited snorkeling. None of us can swim though) 3. Good food 4. Short cruise 5. Atleast 1-2 non adventurous activities other than sight-seeing/trekking 6. Nice amenities/transportation

Any suggestions for best destination given this criteria?

Is it possible for you and your family to take swimming lessons before this trip? A local YMCA is a good place to find them.
