And I'm done here. If anyone indeed insists on indulging their vanity by carrying a temptingly obvious DSLR, I hope they have good insurance, even better luck, and don't put themself in a situation they can't handle with unrealistic expectations of anticipating and somehow controlling how that situation unfolds. That individual would have a much more enjoyable and worry free visit if s/he takes the advice in my first post seriously. Trumpet afterwards that I was advising to be "over cautious" and tourists never feel unsafe.
