Recommendation for guide in Quito and Ecuadorean Highlands
I'm terrible at writing trip reports. I've been reflecting on my week spent in Quito and the Ecuadorean highlands in June 2016. I have concluded that our three days spent with Lincoln Jabra, a private guide, was the best three days out of the seven!
Lincoln took us to Mindo for the day, and then to Otavalo and the surrounding towns for the weekend. Throughout our time together, he was courteous, personable, and made many superb suggestions for the itinerary. While en route to Mindo, we encountered a traffic delay (a bus had overturned, everyone was ok, thankfully), and he took to the back roads to get us around the crash. This ensured we had time for the orchids, the hummingbirds, and the zip lining!!
I am pleased to recommend Lincoln. You can reach him at lincolnjabra at hotmail dot com. If you would like further information from me, it's probably best to find me on Tripadvisor... you can find me by searching for ATorres439.
