We're going to the Galapagos and I booked my flight to Quito (via Miami). I know flight patterns can always change but is there a side of the plane that is more likely to give good views of the volcanoes coming in or going out of Quito? One blog post said to try for a seat on the left side going from Quito to Baltra (via Guayacil) for a view of Cotapaxi and San Crostobal.

It makes sense that it would be left side flying out of Quito and right side flying into Quito to give you the views of the volcanoes south of the city.
